Royal Caribbean has released its deployment plans for 2020-2021 and it includes new 7-night Caribbean itineraries on the Oasis of the Seas departing out of the New York area.

The iconic 5,400-passenger ship will undergo a bow-to-stern transformation in 2019 and become the first Royal Amplified ship and the largest in the Northeast to sail from Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey, starting in May 2020. The ship will sail all summer to the Bahamas, visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay, the line’s private island. CocoCay will welcome a total of 10 ships from various ports in 2020.

Oasis will also sail a select number of short cruises north to New England and Canada.

In other news, Anthem of the Seas will return to the U.K., for the first time since 2015, to sail alongside Independence of the Seas, marking the cruise line’s biggest presence in the region to date.

Adventure of the Seas will return to Cape Liberty, sailing a variety of 5- and 9-night summer and fall itineraries to Bermuda, New England and Canada, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Meanwhile, Vision of the Seas will offer three 10- to 11-night, open-jaw itineraries between Bayonne and Quebec City, with an overnight in Quebec’s capital.

Symphony of the Seas and sister ship, Harmony of the Seas, will return to PortMiami and Port Canaveral, Florida, respectively, offering 7-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Both ships will also feature visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay.
