Oceania Cruises is expanding its North American sales leadership team with two key appointments: Alicia Steuart as senior director of sales and Michael von Wittenau as senior director of national accounts and partner engagement.
“We are committed to being the cruise line of choice for our travel partners,” said Nathan Hickman, senior vice president and chief sales officer of Oceania Cruises. “From meaningful enhancements that improve advisor earnings to the continued strengthening of our sales organization, every decision we make is grounded in bolstering our partnerships. Alicia and Michael bring deep experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record of delivering results for both their teams and their partners.”
Steuart joins Oceania Cruises following more than 26 years with Carnival Cruise Line, where she most recently served as senior sales director, strategic partnerships, overseeing major Host agencies, online travel agencies, consortia, and key trade relationships.
In her new role, she will oversee Oceania’s team of business development managers across the United States and Canada, leading the company’s frontline field sales efforts. With extensive experience cultivating agency relationships and driving advisor sales performance, Steuart brings a proven ability to grow partner engagement and deliver results. She will report to Tricia Wolf, vice president of sales for North America.
Von Wittenau, who has been with Oceania Cruises for more than a decade, will assume responsibility for the company’s consortia partnerships, industry associations, and broader advisor engagement and training initiatives.
The newly created role reflects Oceania’s continued focus on deepening relationships with key trade partners and enhancing the support provided to the advisor community. Having previously served as both a frontline sales leader and a leader of sales teams, von Wittenau brings extensive practical experience and a deep understanding of the trade channel.
Prior to joining Oceania Cruises, he held roles with Signature Travel Network and Crystal Cruises. He will report to Emily Loewy, vice president of sales strategy and operations.
