Oceania Cruises has unveiled a selection of newly reimagined and redesigned suite accommodations for its next new ship, Oceania Sonata. The first vessel in the Sonata class, the ship will offer a greater variety and number of suites, with 33% of the ship’s accommodation designated as a suite.

“We have listened closely to the desires of our guests and are delighted to unveil Oceania Sonata’s thoughtfully reimagined suite accommodations,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer for Oceania Cruises.

Owners Suites

Four Owners Suites, located in the aft corners of Decks 10 and 11, will each boast more than 2,500 square feet and provide sweeping 180-degree views from wraparound balconies. In a first for Oceania, each Owner’s Suite will also feature two bedrooms: a master with a king-size bed and spa-inspired bathroom and a guest bedroom with a queen-size bed, private bath, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a private balcony.

Vista Suites

The eight Vista Suites, ranging from more than 1,500 to more than 1,900 square feet, are also at the aft of the ship and provide oversized balconies and indulgent master bathrooms with double vanities, a soaking tub, and a rainforest shower.

Oceania Suites

The 16 reimagined Oceania Suites range from 1,000 to more than 1,400 square feet and feature living, dining, and bedroom spaces, along with a private teak balcony. Each suite is finished with a king-size bed and marble bathroom.

Horizon Suites

Oceania Sonata features 50 Horizon Suites, an all-new category of suite accommodations for the cruise line. Positioned between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories, these suites offer more than 600 square feet of space with distinct living and bedroom areas, a walk-through wardrobe room, and oversized balcony.

Penthouse Suites

Completing the suite collection on Oceania Sonata are 63 Penthouse Suites and 82 new Penthouse Deluxe Suites, measuring 426 and 488 square feet, respectively. Both feature an oversized living area, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and a private balcony.

Owner’s, Vista, Oceania, and Horizon suites come with in-suite Illy coffee makers; all suites feature butler service. The 1,390-passenger Oceania Sonata debuts in August 2027. It’s inaugural season itineraries will be revealed on Jan. 21, 2026, and open for sale on Jan. 28.
