Holland America Line’s Oosterdam will not sail its planned itineraries in the Mediterranean next summer and will instead move to Alaska.
Holland America made the announcement in an email to travel agents and guests, explaining that it was moving the ship to meet a rising demand for Alaskan itineraries. The Oosterdam will be the cruise line’s seventh ship scheduled for Alaska in 2017.
Guests who have booked Mediterranean itineraries on the Oosterdam can rebook on another European or transatlantic cruise at the same price with additional onboard credit.
