As part of its newly revealed 2029 deployment, Seabourn will return to Egypt for the first time in more than five years, with select voyages including an overnight in Alexandria. In total, the 2029 collection visits more than 200 destinations across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, and Canada & New England.
Other new opportunities for cruise clients include a new seven-day itinerary exploring Sweden and Finland’s Gulf of Bothnia, maiden calls in Northern Europe, and more extended and overnight stays across regions.
“Our 2029 Ocean Voyages collection offers guests more ways to spend meaningful time in the destinations they visit, whether that means an overnight at the gateway to the pyramids of Egypt, exploring new ports in Northern Europe or experiencing Alaska with our Expedition Team,” said Crystal Morgan, senior director, deployment and itinerary planning of Seabourn. “It also reflects what Seabourn does particularly well: combining access to smaller ports and less-traveled places with the personalized service and onboard experience our guests expect.”
Return to Egypt
Sailing from March through November 2029, Seabourn Ovation’s Mediterranean season offers 21 unique itineraries throughout the Western Mediterranean, Italy, the Adriatic, the Aegean, and beyond. One of the most anticipated offerings is the line’s return to Egypt. Select voyages aboard Seabourn Ovation will feature an overnight stay in Alexandria, providing guests with ample time to explore Cairo, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and more.
New specialty voyages include Italian Coast & Fireworks Over Corsica and Pyramids & Evening at Ephesus.
In addition, the season will include visits to boutique ports and hidden harbors that are often inaccessible to larger vessels, including a maiden call at Kapsali on the Greek island of Kythira.
The season will feature Seabourn’s signature complimentary “Evening at Ephesus,” a private event that brings guests into the ancient city after hours for a classical music performance among its illuminated ruins.
New Finland Gulf of Bothnia Itinerary
Between May and September 2029, Seabourn Quest will set sail on a series of port-rich itineraries designed to encourage deeper exploration and meaningful connections in Northern Europe. A major highlight of the season is a new seven-day voyage into Sweden and Finland’s Gulf of Bothnia, taking Seabourn farther north in the Baltic to destinations rarely featured on traditional cruise itineraries. The voyage includes maiden calls at Härnösand, Kemi, Rauma, and Oulu, offering guests the opportunity to explore lesser-visited destinations in Sweden and Finland.
The season also introduces maiden calls at Alta, and Frøya, while extended and overnight stays in Bordeaux, Rouen, Helsinki, Tallinn, Edinburgh, and Hamburg give guests more time to explore ashore. Guests can also visit Turku, Finland, during its landmark 900th anniversary year in 2029. Founded in 1229, Turku is Finland’s oldest city and offers a rich blend of Nordic history, culture, and architecture, making it a particularly timely and memorable port of call.
Many voyages can be combined to create journeys of 14, 21, 28 or more days.
Alaska Adventures Return
Seabourn Encore returns to Alaska in 2029 with a series of seven-day voyages between Juneau and Vancouver between May and September. Also available are 10- and 11-day itineraries extending north to destinations such as Valdez, Whittier, and College Fjord.
Guests seeking a more active adventure can participate in optional Ventures by Seabourn experiences, including Zodiac cruises and kayak excursions that bring them closer to Alaska’s extraordinary natural environment.
Canada & New England’s Fall Foliage
Seabourn Quest’s Canada and New England season will feature 12- and 13-day voyages between September and October, showcasing the region’s rich maritime traditions, French Canadian heritage, charming coastal communities, and beautiful autumn landscapes.
Guests will enjoy overnight stays in Boston, Quebec City, and St. John’s, along with visits to boutique ports including Gaspé, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and Prince Edward Island.
