Viking and Fincantieri have signed contracts for the construction of two more ocean cruise ships, following the exercise of options granted and announced in April 2025. Both vessels will be built at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard and are scheduled for delivery in 2032.
Both ships will be the same size as the rest of Viking’s fleet, at approximately 54,300 tons with capacity for 998 passengers in 499 cabins.
This latest order follows the contracts announced earlier this year for the construction of two new expedition vessels for Viking.
The order also further reinforces the strong partnership between Viking and Fincantieri, which now encompasses a total of 28 ships.
