As summer winds down, Walt Disney World is gearing up for fall with a host of new festive activities.

Kicking things off is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Aug. 25. The Magic Kingdom will host the guest-favorite event from 7 p.m. to midnight for 32 nights. Highlights include Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Spectacular. Disney characters will be dressed in Halloween costumes and treat trails will line Magic Kingdom.

In September, artists will take the stages at ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex to perform Christian music for the Night of Joy Concert Series. The annual event, held September 8 and 9, also includes a family activity zone and food trucks.

Foodies can head to Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival for culinary events, seminars and workshops. Running from Aug. 31 to Nov. 17, the festival will include more than 35 specialized marketplaces throughout the World Showcase Promenade and Future World offering tapas-sized dishes, beer, wine and ciders. Celebrity and Disney chefs will present culinary demonstrations; beverage experts will host daily wine tastings and seminars; and 32 musical acts will perform during the Eat to the Beat concerts.

Disney Springs will welcome a new dining venue led by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano with the fall opening of Terralina Crafted Italian. The restaurant will serve authentic Italian cuisine and a wood-burning oven will fire up a selection of artisanal, hand-tossed pizzas.
