A strike by air traffic controllers has caused airlines to cancel 20% of flights from Paris Orly and a third of flights from Marseille Provence Airport in France on Thursday.
The strike is the 43rd one by French air traffic controllers in the past six years and the second in as many weeks. Last week’s strike caused airlines to cancel a third of their flights in France.
American Airlines, British Airlines, and Iberia have all waived ticketing fees for flight changes to the affected airports on Thursday.
Other airlines have made cancellations; Ryanair is cancelling more than 90 flights.
The strike will end at 5 a.m. Friday morning.
