Grenada Tourism Authority Names Stacey A. Liburd CEO

The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) has named Stacey A. Liburd, the former director of tourism at the Anguilla Tourist Board, as its new chief executive officer, effective June 15, 2025.
“I am deeply honored to accept the role of chief executive officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority,” Liburd said in a statement. “Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique are destinations of extraordinary beauty, culture and potential. I look forward to working closely with our industry partners to further elevate our brand and ensure tourism continues to bring meaningful, sustainable benefits to our people.”
Liburd spent almost five years with the Anguilla Tourist Board before joining GTA, eventually reaching the position of director of tourism. In the new role with GTA, Liburd will be responsible for “implementing a national tourism strategy, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and driving sustainable growth across the sector.”
In a statement, Liburd said she was “deeply honoured” to take the role.
“I look forward to working closely with our industry partners to further elevate our brand, strengthen our presence in key markets, and ensure that tourism continues to bring meaningful, sustainable benefits to our people,” Liburd said.
