Help Fiji with Tourism Cares

by Anna Gleksman  March 03, 2016

Tourism Cares is raising money for Fiji after Cyclone Winston devastated the country nearly two weeks ago. Tourism Cares is seeking donations for community-based organizations in order to help rebuild the economy and offer aid.

The Ocean Future Society, Sea Mercy, Yacht Aid, and destination management company Rosie Holidays and Ahura Resorts are all accepting donations. Fiji is under a 30-day state of disaster after the strongest storm in its history killed at least 29 people in February.

Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines have both suspended calls to Fiji because of the storm. Both cruise lines said they will return to their usual schedule in Fiji in the near future.
