Just over 24-hours after a series of attacks in Brussels left at least 30 dead, the U.S. State Department has issued a travel warning for all of Europe.
“Terrorist groups continue to plan near-term attacks throughout Europe, targeting sporting events, tourist sites, restaurants, and transportation,” the warning reads, so U.S. citizens abroad should be wary when in public places or using mass transport, and should avoid crowded places. “Follow the instructions of local authorities, especially in an emergency. Monitor media and local information sources and factor updated information into personal travel plans and activities.”
