Wine Theme Park Opens In France

“La Cité du Vin,” a theme park dedicated to all things wine, opens today in Bordeaux wine country.
The $91-million project will be part theme park, part museum. There will be 20 themed areas, classes on the history and culture of wine, expert-led tasting areas, and workshops. A simulator boat ride lets visitors accompany a wine merchant on his journey.
The 10-story building itself was designed to represent wine swirling in a glass.
