Private Dinner in Hemingway’s Home

December 14, 2015

Key West’s Casa Marina resort is offering a three-day, $25,000 package whose highlight is the first-ever private dinner inside the Hemingway house.

When the Nobel Prize-winning author of For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Snows of Kilimanjaro passed through Key West on his way to Cuba, he found the area so relaxing that he decided to buy a home—and write many of his most acclaimed works — on the island.

The dinner is prepared by chef Alex Beaumont, based on a menu inspired by the famous writer. The package also includes a private seaplane trip to Dry Tortugas National Park, a fishing trip aboard a yacht, and an “emerald experience” with the Marcial de Gomar jewelery-making family.
