Visit Florida Keys & Key West has relaunched its Key Lime Academy for travel advisors with a new emphasis on how every visit to the destination can be different. The program equips advisors with the destination knowledge they need to confidently match clients with the right island and turn inquiries into bookings.

The self-paced, online certification program is organized by region, giving advisors a deeper understanding of what makes each district unique.

From Key Largo, to Islamorada, Marathon, to the Lower Keys and Key West, advisors get an in-depth look into the islands’ accommodations, transportation options, accessibility offerings, signature experiences, seasonal travel opportunities, and hidden gems.

Destination insights, itinerary inspiration, insider tips, and practical sales tools round out the program’s offerings.

Upon completing the program, advisors earn the designation of Conch-Star Specialist, recognizing their expertise in planning and promoting travel throughout the Florida Keys & Key West.

Graduates also receive access to curated itineraries tailored to a variety of traveler interests, including families, couples, honeymooners, adventure seekers, solo travelers, and active adults. The designation signals an advisor’s ability to recommend the right island, experiences, and pace of travel while showcasing a deeper understanding of one of Florida’s most diverse destinations.

“As travelers continue seeking authentic, personalized vacations, travel advisors remain one of our most valuable partners in helping them discover everything the Florida Keys & Key West have to offer,” said Ed Simon, COO and executive vice president of Visit Florida Keys & Key West. “The reimagined Key Lime Academy gives advisors destination expertise can immediately put into play to create unforgettable client experiences that grow their business.”

Travel advisors interested in earning the Conch-Star Specialist Designation can enroll at www.KeyLimeAcademy.com.
