Korea Medical Tourism Conference
KHIDI (Korea Healthcare Industry Development Institute) will hold the country’s first national healthcare and medical tourism conference in Seoul, April 13-15. Jae-Hee Jeon, the Minister for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, which is hosting the conference, said the conference aims to bring together worldwide healthcare providers, international insurance companies, medical tourism facilitators, travel agencies and referring physicians.
Conference topics will include marketing strategies, legal issues and case studies in medical tourism.
Korea, through KHIDI, has begun to actively promote its advanced medical services and affordable medical costs.
Through the conference, KHIDI will not only try to promote the Korean healthcare industry, but also aims to provide comprehensive and practical information about medical tourism worldwide.
