More and more destinations have reopened their borders to U.S. travelers. From Caribbean islands to European locales, these places are once again welcoming tourists. After more than a year of being unable to visit, clients aspiring to take a vacation to one of these destinations can choose from a slew of new hotels to stay in.

La Esperanza Granada, Spain
As Spain reopened to U.S. vaccinated travelers on June 7, Americans can stay at the newly opened La Esperanza Granada in Andalucia, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. The countryside estate is set among 12 acres of gardens with orchards, and Alhambra-inspired courtyards, on a hilltop just 30 minutes from Granada. Blending Andalusian style with the elegance of a stately hacienda, the retreat features eight guest suites furnished with authentic art and antiques. The tranquil gardens include a pool, infinity jacuzzi, yoga pavilion, and a heliport, and guests can take advantage of a range of on-property activities including paella masterclasses, mixology sessions, flamenco lessons, and personalized wellness treatments.

Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort, Mexico
Situated on 100 acres of Mayan coastline is less than 20 miles south of Cancun’s popular Hotel Zone and north of Riviera Maya, the?Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort. Mexico has been a popular destination for Americans looking to get away without traveling too far from home. The beachfront resort will feature 715 guest rooms offering panoramic?views, 12 culinary experiences, and oceanfront pools. The resort is available for reservations beginning November 7.

Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa, Greece
Fully vaccinated Americans have been able to visit Greece without restrictions since mid-May. Banyan Tree Group is opening its first flagship property in Europe, Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa. Set on an idyllic hilltop estate in Corfu’s Akra Punta bay, near Benitses Village, the new luxury resort debuts with a collection of 159 contemporary guest rooms, suites, and 37 one to four-bedroom pool villas. Each pool villa is meant to evoke the feeling of an authentic, and private Corfu home with outdoor pavilions, terracotta rooftops, and private pools. There’s a total of 10 food and beverage venues including four signature restaurants and seven bars with outdoor terraces overlooking a panorama of far-reaching sea views and the Corfu countryside.

Hilton Tahiti Resort
The Islands of Tahiti — including Bora Bora, Moorea, and Tahiti itself — will reopen to tourists starting May 1. The 200-room Hilton Tahiti Resort is scheduled to open this fall in the Tahitian capital of Pape’ete. Situated on the waterfront, Hilton Tahiti Resort is minutes from the international airport and Pape’ete Ferry Terminal with connections to Moorea Island. Hilton Tahiti Resort will offer 170 guestrooms and 30 suites that will have a Polynesian feeling with a modern twist. The hotel will offer spa treatments, a fitness center, and the largest outdoor pool in French Polynesia that overlooks Moorea island and features six private cabanas.

The Morgan Resort & Spa, St. Maarten
St. Maarten is open to American travelers. As of July 1, travelers originating from the U.S. and Canada must take a PCR test on a nasopharyngeal swab within 72 hours of departure. Alternatively, travelers can also take an antigen test within 48 hours before departure. The government of Sint Maarten has implemented a mandatory COVID-19 insurance for all travelers. The recently opened Morgan Resort & Spa is a five-star luxury boutique property on the Dutch side of the island. 124 ultra-contemporary guestrooms and suites feature private exterior entrances and balconies or terraces and are furnished with chic, modern furniture and nautically inspired accents and artwork. At Salt Restaurant + Bar, French Caribbean cuisine will be served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
