Tour operator Globus has expanded its sales team in Canada with two new business development managers: Gina Goranson and Elaine French.

On the West Coast, B.C.-based Goranson has joined the Globus family of brands as BDM for Vancouver Island and lower mainland. French, meanwhile, is based in Ontario and will focus on the Southwest portion of that province.

In their new roles, Goranson and French will focus on building and maintaining partner relationships while growing regional sales for Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways. They report to Denise Harper, Globus’ senior director, business development.

“Built on a foundation of education, awareness, integrity and trust, we’re dedicated to reinforcing our sales and trade relationships across Canada,” said Harper in a press release. “Gina and Elaine will help us do just that. On the heels of unveiling a new trade brand campaign, advisor portal and education platform, we’re well-poised to grow our roots and business across Canada.”

Goranson is experienced in the Canadian travel industry space. She joins from tour company Collette, where she was a BDM since December 2019.

French may be less familiar to the industry, but she brings with her an extensive career in sales and business development.

“Advisors are at heart of everything we do,” stated Harper. “As partners, we’re not only dedicated to providing them a one-stop-shop for every way in the world to experience the world, but we’re in the privileged position of also delivering more ‘wow’ across the globe, one client at a time.”
