Great Wolf Comes To Colorado

Wisconsin-based Great Wolf Resorts, which operates family-oriented water park resorts nationwide, will be opening its newest resort in Colorado Springs on Dec. 26.
The resort will include a 311-room all-suite hotel, a 50,000-square-foot indoor water park, restaurants, more than 20,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, spas, a bowling alley, miniature golf and an arcade.
The company is developing the resort as part of the completion of a Renaissance hotel that began construction but was abandoned when only half-finished in 2009. Great Wolf bought the property in July 2015.
Great Wolf has 14 water-park resorts in the United States and Canada, and in June announced one will open in Georgia in 2018. Its animal-themed resorts offer family-style suites with bunk beds and other kid-friendly touches.
