NTA’s Lisa Simon Resigns
National Tour Association (NTA) President Lisa Simon resigned, the association reported. Simon has been with NTA for 28 years, seven of them as president. “I have been with NTA for most of my professional career, and during that time we have seen an incredible amount of growth and change,” Simon said in a statement. “I believe this is the right time for me to find new challenges and the right time for new leadership to take the association into its next phase of growth.”
Simon will remain in her post through the end of the year. NTA’s board of directors will conduct a national executive search for her replacement. Beginning in January, Catherine Prather, NTA senior vice president, will serve as interim president.
