While the Great Migration is a major pull for many clients wishing to visit Kenya and Tanzania, African Adventure Specialists wants travelers to know there are upsides to waiting until the migration has died down. The African tour company has unveiled an all-new seven-night journey across the two countries timed just after the peak of the Great Migration when there are fewer crowds but just as many chances for wildlife sightseeing.
“Right after the Great Migration is one of East Africa’s most rewarding — and underrated — safari seasons,” said Andrew Mutunga Kitema, managing co-owner of African Adventure Specialists. “The herds may have moved on, but the drama continues. Predators are more visible, the landscape is lush, and there’s a peacefulness that peak season can’t offer. For travel advisors, this is the perfect time to recommend to clients who want all the wildlife and none of the crowds — with added value and luxury touches that truly elevate the experience.”
The tour includes stops in the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli with highlights such as multiple game drives in the Masai Mara and Serengeti, full-day safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, an elephant safari in Amboseli, and luxury lodges and tented camps. There are also optional hot air ballon rides and Masai cultural interactions available.
Guests can also opt for a five-day Zanzibar extension, specifically in November 2025 with luxury stays at some of Zanzibar’s best resorts including Zuri Zanzibar, Tulia, Melia, and &Beyond Mnemba Island.
Travel advisors are invited to contact African Adventure Specialists for special rates and DMC collaboration opportunities.
