ALG Vacations Adds New Website Building Tool for Group Bookings

ALG Vacations Adds New Website Building Tool for Group Bookings

ALG Vacations has added the ability for travel advisors to build their own custom event page for group bookings.

Effective immediately, advisors booking contracted groups of any size can build a custom, one-page website tailored for that booking. The process includes automation options and templates that ALG Vacations says will save advisors time when putting the page together.

That page will not just serve as the home for the group’s details, including a Meet Your Travel Advisor Section and terms and fees, but will also allow clients to independently book their place in the group (advisors will earn credit just like they would if they closed the booking themselves).

Advisors can also use the page to broadcast even schedule updates and external links, including to wedding registry pages, to the group. Pages can include a schedule with up to six events for the gathering, complete with event names, dates/times, locations, and more. Advisors can also use some of those website options to add images to the page.

“When we dedicate time and investment to technology upgrades, we ask our travel advisor network for their list of priorities,” said Jacki Marks, Global Head of Trade Brands. “Customized event pages for groups of any size were at the top of many lists. But we took it a step further to also provide advisors with additional tools to protect and manage the group’s profitability,” she added.

Advisors can get started on the Customizing Group page on the Vax Vacation Access website.
