Contiki Launches Its First-Ever Coach Trip in Africa

Contiki, the social youth travel brand from The Travel Corp. (TTC), is debuting a brand new, 8-day African coach tour in 2023 called Garden Route & Addo. The tour, which will kick off in February, is Contiki’s first-ever Africa coach tour.
The trip, which will be no larger than 39 travelers, starts and ends in Cape Town, taking guests on South Africa’s Garden Route. Guests will be able to get a taste of the region’s beaches, safaris, and vineyards, with experiences that include seeing elephants at Addo Elephant Park, getting the chance to see the Big 5 on a game drive in Amakhala, and more.
The trip is led by Contiki Trip Manager Kyle Junkuhn, a 5-year veteran of Contiki who was born and raised in Africa and helped the tour brand launch Contiki Africa in 2018.
“This is a well-balanced trip where you don’t have to make any compromises,” he said. “The variety of locations and activities is one of the best things about the Garden Route and on this trip, you get the perfect road trip with Contiki there to take care of the driving.”
Pricing for the tour includes accommodation, coach transportation, and breakfast every day.
