Carlson Wagonlit Travel appointed Kurt Ekert president and chief executive officer. He had worked at Travelport and its predecessor companies from 2002 until January, when he resigned as executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Travelport. Ekert replaces Douglas Anderson, who left the company to pursue other opportunities.
