Pleasant Holidays’ luxury brand, Journese, announced the launch of its new “Cancel for Any Reason” trip protection plan coverage. And, in welcome news for travel advisors, the plan features 100% commission protection and a simplified cancellation process.

Travelers will have up to seven days after the initial deposit to choose from two plan options: the Cancel for Any Reason – Cash Back option (which provides refunds in the form of the original payment) or the lower-priced Cancel for Any Reason – Voucher option (which provides a travel credit that can be applied to the client’s next Journese vacation).

In addition to cancellations for any reason, the new protection coverage includes no claim forms for cancellations prior to travel; every booking with a trip protection plan automatically receives benefits when canceled in full prior to travel. Travel advisors will receive 100% commission protection with the purchase of any trip protection plan option.

The Cancel for Any Reason plan provides travelers with price protection and a one-time change or cancellation coverage. Travelers also receive post-departure benefits, including trip interruption coverage, a pre-existing medical condition exclusion waiver, baggage delay coverage, trip delay coverage, and one-call 24-hour worldwide travel assistance services.

The new protection plans are not valid for cruise bookings. Journese offers a separate plan, Cruise Protection Plan Plus, for vacations with Scenic Luxury Europe River Cruises, Paul Gauguin, American Queen Steamboat Company, UnCruise Adventures, and Victory Cruise Lines. It also offers cash back and 100% commission protection when the booking is canceled for a covered reason.
