London Sightseeing Card Goes Mobile
The London Pass, a staple for tourists visiting 60 of the U.K. city’s top attractions for more than 16 years, is now available in a mobile phone version.
The Pass syncs with a dedicated app to perform both as an entry ticket to top sites like the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and Windsor Castle, and provide real time special offers from restaurants, theaters and other tourist venues.
Users scan a QR code contained in the mobile pass to gain admittance at each attraction. The London Pass app also becomes a mobile guidebook, providing full details of attractions featured on the pass, a London Underground map, information on 15 different London neighborhoods, as well as suggested activities based on visitor travel plans (such as a family looking for a child-friendly day out.)
The London Pass is priced from £59 per adult and £39 per child for a one-day pass. Two, three, six and 10-day versions are available.
