Marek Andryszak, a former C-suite executive with TUI, has been named the new President of the Sunwing Vacations Group.
WestJet, which owns Sunwing, announced on Thursday that Andryszak will take over effective March 16, 2026. Andryszak brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in the tour operator sector to the role.
In addition to his leadership roles at TUI, Andryszak most recently served as CEO of the DSR Hotel Holding group in Germany, which operates 34 hotels and resorts under several brands across Europe. Prior to that, he spent two years as CEO of 8a.pl, a Polish e-commerce retailer.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the WestJet Group and leading Sunwing Vacations at such an exciting time for the business. Canada’s travel market offers incredible opportunities, and I look forward to working with our talented teams to deliver exceptional vacation experiences for our customers,” said Andryszak. “My family and I are eager to make the move to Toronto, and embrace life in Canada as we start this new chapter together.”
