ASTA Announces Several Staff Promotions

by Richard D'Ambrosio  October 26, 2017

The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) announced several staffing changes this week, with a focus on strengthening its advocacy, business development and member services.

Eben Peck has been promoted to executive vice president, advocacy. Peck has served in a number of roles at ASTA since 2012. In his new position, he will oversee ASTA’s wide-ranging efforts to advocate for the travel agent and advisor community – including key government affairs, industry affairs, communications, legal and research functions.

Sarah Little has been promoted to director, business development. Also at ASTA since 2012, Little assumes an expanded role in developing and executing strategic marketing programs with suppliers, destinations and other industry stakeholders.

Andrea Caulfield has been promoted to manager, member care. At ASTA since 2015, Caulfield is an integral part of the ASTA membership team and the main point of contact for ASTA’s current and prospective members, supplier partners and the traveling public.

Jasmine Causey has been promoted to senior coordinator, membership sales & service, shifting her focus to supporting the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) membership network. She has been at ASTA since 2013.

Finally, Don McGahee has been named manager, business development, where he will be responsible for ASTA’s growing international membership, as well as organizing ASTA & NACTA’s educational FAM programs. He has been at NACTA/ASTA since 2011.
