Riviera Travel Unveils Collection of Exclusive, Included River Cruise Experiences

Starting 2028, Riviera Travel will launch “The Riviera Moment,” a collection of exclusive, included river cruise excursions for select sailings onboard Riviera Moment. Designed to elevate some of Riviera’s most popular European itineraries, these specially curated events offer privileged access to iconic venues, private performances, expert-led encounters, and memorable celebrations. 

“The Riviera Moment reflects everything our guests value the most about travel: authentic cultural connections, unique access, and unforgettable experiences that can’t be replicated,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel River Cruises. “These events open doors to remarkable venues and experiences reserved solely for our guests, creating memories that will stay with them long after they return home.”

The Riviera Moment excursions will be available on Riviera Moment’s sailings of four of the brand’s best-selling itineraries and include:

Private Access to the House of Strauss: Guests on The Blue Danube itinerary can enjoy private access to the House of Strauss, including an evening concert and time to explore the Strauss Museum. Departures featuring this experience begin in April 2028.

Exclusive Visit to Kloster Eberbach: Guests on the Rhine Cruise to Switzerland itinerary can enjoy an exclusive visit to Kloster Eberbach, one of Europe’s most well-known monasteries and wineries. Following a sparkling wine reception, guests will have a private tour of the historic abbey and taste regional wines before enjoying a private concert in the Romanesque Basilica. Departures featuring this experience begin in May 2028.

Private Villa Gathering: Guests sailing on the Burgundy, River Rhone & Provence itinerary will experience an exclusive reception and concert in a private villa set amid the vineyards of Tain-I’Hermitage. Beginning with a Saint-Péray welcome reception featuring a tasting of Rhône wines, a live musical performance will take place surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of southeastern France. Departures featuring this experience begin in March 2028.

Private Access to the Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny: Guests on the Seine, Paris, and Normandy itinerary will have time to explore the museum and gardens at their leisure. This will be followed by drinks and local canapés in the village of Giverny. Departures featuring this unique experience debut in April 2028.

The launch of ‘The Riviera Moment’ collection coincides with the opening of sales for all 2028 Riviera Travel river cruise itineraries.
