Tzell Partners Offers Clients Mobile Messaging

August 30, 2010

Add Tzell Travel Group to the list of corporate travel agencies offering mobile messaging to its business travelers. Tzell partnered with Sabre Travel Network to offer the TripCase mobile messaging application, close on the heels of renewing its long-term partnership with Sabre Travel Network.

TripCase is a mobile application providing travel-itinerary services and the ability for agencies to send free updates, notifications and alerts to travelers throughout their trip, using TripCase’s proprietary messaging platform.

Commenting on the new messaging application, Sabre Travel Network – Americas senior vice president Jay Jones said: “Mobile in travel has grown exponentially in recent years and this has provided travel agencies with a fresh opportunity to demonstrate their value, and differentiate their brand and service.”

Via TripCase, Tzell can enhance the service provided to its traveling customers by delivering their complete itinerary on the mobile device, enabling them to view and share their information. Tzell also could leverage TripCase’s messaging platform to proactively interact with travelers while on the road, sending them reminders during their journey, and notifying them of any trip changes, updates and cancellations.

As the TripCase solution is fully integrated with Tzell’s customer travel information, any itinerary changes will be automatically synchronized for the traveler too.

TripCase’s technology keeps travelers informed and connected with:

• One-click access to trip details and notes;
• Automatic import of itinerary details or manually add flights, hotels and rental car information;
• Free up-to-the-minute notifications about flight delays, cancellations and gate changes; alternate flight availability; baggage claim information; and hotel and car-rental status alerts;
• The capability to share itineraries;
• Secure connections to ensure the protection of traveler and corporate data.

TripCase is available as a free download for iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Windows Mobile devices and through most mobile Web browsers.
