Genting Opens ‘Teaching Hotel’ In Chinese University
Crystal Cruises parent Genting Hong Kong is opening a “teaching hotel” at Xiamen University to train hospitality industry workers of the future.
The new three-story Lim Goh Tong Building houses 82 demonstration hotel rooms, giving students the opportunity to learn through hands-on training. It will serve as the academic and research center for the School of Management’s Tourism and Hotel Management Department.
This is China’s first teaching hotel at a top level tertiary educational institution.
Genting Hong Kong is the parent of Resorts World Manila; Singapore nightlife brand Zouk; and three cruise brands, Star Cruises, Dream Cruises, and Crystal Cruises.
