Citing the health and safety of its passengers and crew, MSC Cruises became the latest cruise line to announce it will cancel all stops to St. Petersburg in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This summer’s Baltic itineraries will call Stockholm, Helsinki, or Tallinn, instead.

The cruise line had four ships scheduled to call on St. Petersburg this summer: MSC Preziosa, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Poesia and MSC Virtuosa.

MSC will communicate the exact details of which replacement port each sailing is getting to travel advisors and guests.

Other cruise lines to cancel port calls (or entire seasons) in the region include Viking River Cruises, Atlas Ocean Voyages, the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands, and Windstar Cruises.
