Insight Vacations Launches Game Of Thrones-Themed Tour
Insight Vacations has introduced a tour that will take travelers to Croatia, where the Game of Thrones series is filmed, allowing fans to explore the fictional kingdoms of Meereen, King’s Landing, and Qarth.
Travelers will tour Split, which serves as the kingdom of Meereen, and Dubrovnik, the basis for King’s Landing. The fortress city is also used for filming parts of Qarth and Slaver’s Bay.
Insight offers several additional itineraries that highlight the real King’s Landing. Guests interested in exploring Dubrovnik can also go on “Country Roads of Croatia,” “Imperial Capitals & the Dalmatian Riviera,” “Treasures of the Balkans,” and “Dalmatian Elegance” tours.
