Former CLIA President Cindy D’Aoust Takes Helm at American Queen Voyages
by Daniel McCarthy /American Queen Voyages (AQV) on Wednesday announced that Cindy D’Aoust, the former president of CLIA, will take over as the company’s new president effective Monday, Oct. 3.
Hornblower Group, the parent company of AQV, said that D’Aoust will take over for David Giersdorf, the current acting president who has served in that role since the spring.

D’Aoust, who stepped down from CLIA in 2018, has over two decades of travel and hospitality experience, including serving as the president of hospitality for Cape Resort Management Company, a role she has served in since CLIA.
