Marriott to Expand Lifestyle Brand AC Hotels
Marriott International plans to open 22 new AC Hotels by Marriott in 2016, moving forward with its global expansion of the boutique lifestyle brand. Known for its European design and Spanish heritage, the brand has a portfolio that include more than 80 hotels in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Turkey, France, and the United States.
This month, AC Guadalajara, Mexico; AC Cincinnati North/West Chester, OH; AC Boston North, MA; AC Marseille, France; and AC Queretaro, Mexico will open.
Throughout the year, additional hotels will open in Panama City, Panama; Santiago, Chile; San Jose Downtown, CA; Manchester England, UK; Atlanta North, GA; Des Moines Downtown, IA; Asheville, NC; Santa Fe, Mexico; Rio Barra de Tijuca, Brazil; Minneapolis, MN; Rio Porto Maravilha, Brazil; Mainz, Germany; Herzliya, Israel; Wroclaw, Poland; Birmingham England, UK; Boston Cambridge, MA; and Phoenix Tempe, AZ.
