Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet may be known as the “Fun Ships,” but that doesn’t mean guests can’t find places to unwind and relax. On Carnival Celebration, the ship’s Cloud 9 Spa and Loft 19 will allow them to do just that.
“While every Carnival ship has places to relax, we took all of the fan favorites form across our fleet and brought them to Carnival Celebration to make her the ultimate space to unwind and enjoy your vacation,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “From our popular Cloud 9 Spa and adult-only areas to the new spaces designed just for relaxing, there will be nothing like feeling pampered while enjoying endless ocean views and vibes on Carnival Celebration.”
Cloud 9
Like most of the rest of the fleet, Carnival Celebration will feature the line’s signature Cloud 9 Spa (decks 5 and 6). The spa will feature a hydrotherapy pool, steam rooms and a post-treatment relaxation room for guests to lounge and enjoy herbal tea. Spa treatments will include massages, facials, stone therapy, body treatments and acupuncture, among others.
The Cloud 9 Spa will also have a fully-service salon and an expansive fitness center.
Loft 19
Located on the ship’s highest deck, Loft 19 is an extra-fee retreat-style space first introduced on Mardi Gras. Loft 19 includes full bar service, an infinity whirlpool, sun loungers and private cabanas, available for rent by the day or for a full voyage. The cabanas come with Loft 19 attendant service, plush robes, lunch delivery, chilled towels and fresh fruit.
Guests staying in Excel-level suites receive complimentary access to Loft 19 and priority cabana reservations.
Serenity Adult-Only Retreat
Carnival’s popular fleet-wide Serenity Retreat is open to guests 21 and older and features full bar service, a pool and two hot tubs.
Pools
In addition to the pool in the Serenity Retreat, guests can take a dip in the patio pool in Summer Landing and the tides pool in Lido. Havana stateroom and suite guests also have exclusive access to the Havana pool.
Carnival Celebration is scheduled to debut November 21 in PortMiami. Highlights of the ship include six themed zones, including several spaces designed to celebrate Carnival’s 50 years in business. The ship is also home to the line’s second BOLT roller coaster.
It is the second Carnival ship to be powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
