Porter Airlines to Add Service to Five Florida Cities this Fall
by Daniel McCarthy /Canada’s Porter Airlines is launching new daily service to five Florida destinations this fall.
Starting in November, Porter will fly from Toronto to Tampa, Ft. Myers, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Toronto. The carrier will also launch service from Ottawa to both Orlando and Miami. Porter will roll out the service through December, with each route beginning with one daily, roundtrip flight.
Porter will fly all of the service on its 132-seat, all-economy Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which offers free WiFi. Both of its fares—PorterReserve and PorterClassic—will be offered.
The new routes are part of a continued expansion from Porter, which last month inaugurated its first Western Canada route between Ottawa and Vancouver, and added service between Victoria and Toronto Pearson earlier this summer.
Porter is headquartered in Toronto and flies a fleet of Embraer E195-E2 and De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft.
