Cunard to Hold Space for 500 Advisors During Queen Anne Inaugurals, Reveals Wellness Spaces
by Dori Saltzman /When it debuts next year, Cunard will be offering opportunities for up to 500 of its most engaged travel advisor partners from around the world to come onboard within the first month of operation, including during two overnight experiences in Southampton, England.
The line made the announcement during a shipyard visit to see the vessel still under construction. During the tour, led by Captain Inger Thorhauge, the line’s first female captain, a small group of global travel advisors were treated to behind-the-scenes access, including learning about the Queen Anne’s wellness features.
When it debuts next year, Cunard’s Queen Anne will boast the widest selection of fitness, beauty, thermal and spa facilities of any Cunard ship.
Among some of the facility’s most modern amenities will be cryotherapy treatments and a Himalayan salt sauna and cold room. Another standout space will be The Pavilion, a top-deck relaxation spot with a specially-designed glass dome roof that retracts in warmer climes. The multi-purpose space will also encompass the Wellness Café for nutritious alternative breakfasts and lunches, and the Wellness Studio, open from sunrise to sunset.
The Wellness Club will also feature a tailor-made program for solo travelers, where, on embarkation night, solo cruisers will be able to gather for a meet-and-greet.
