First Marvel-Themed Hotel Planned For Disneyland Paris

AT D23 EXPO 2017, DISNEY PARKS CHAIRMAN BOB CHAPEK UNVEILS MARVEL-THEMED HOTEL COMING TO DISNEYLAND PARIS — DisneyÕs Hotel New York Ð The Art of Marvel at Disneyland Paris will transport guests to the action-packed world of Super Heroes, including Iron Man, The Avengers, Spider-Man and more.
Marvel’s Super Heroes are heading to France, where they’ll be the center of a resort hotel at Disneyland Paris.
Iron Man, the Avengers and Spider Man will take over the 565-room Hotel New York, near the park’s Disneytown. As the first-ever Marvel-themed hotel, The Hotel New York – the Art of Marvel will showcase props, costumes and drawings from its branded comics, movies and TV shows.
Disney said more details are forthcoming, and will be shared on its blog.
Since acquiring Marvel Entertainment in 2009, Walt Disney has opened two attractions, Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure, and Iron Man Experience at Hong Kong Disneyland. It plans to open a Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster at Walt Disney World’s Epcot and an Avengers attraction at Disney’s California Adventure park as well.
