JetBlue is expanding its Texas footprint, adding twice-daily nonstop flights between Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
The service is scheduled to launch on May 21, 2026. JetBlue will operate the route using its signature Airbus A320 aircraft.
When the service resumes, it won’t be the first time JetBlue has connected IAH and JFK. The airline originally launched the route in late 2019 after moving its entire Houston operation from William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). However, the JFK service was suspended shortly thereafter due to the pandemic, while JetBlue opted to maintain its existing nonstop service between Houston and Boston Logan (BOS).
“Houston is an important destination for many travelers, and we’re pleased to reintroduce nonstop service between JFK and Houston, giving our customers a convenient connection between these two major metropolitan areas,” said Dave Jehn, Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships at JetBlue. “With twice-daily flights, we’re offering a schedule that works well for same-day trips, longer stays, and easy connections across our network.”
