United Airlines is adding a new nonstop flight between California’s Ontario International Airport (ONT) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) starting in May.
The airline will operate the daily service beginning May 22 on a Boeing 737-800, which has 166 seats across United’s First, Economy Plus, and Economy classes. Ontario, located about 50 miles east of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), will be United’s latest West Coast destination from Chicago, one of its largest hubs.
The flight will leave daily from Ontario at 7 a.m. PST and return fat 7:55 p.m. CST.
Chicago will be Ontario airport’s 27th nonstop destination. Last year, Ontario saw record growth, surpassing 7 million passengers for the first time in 18 years. That marked a 10% increase from 2023 and nearly 30% growth compared to 2019.
