Disney Cruise Line this week introduced a temporary final payment extension for sailings through June 30, 2021. In addition, the cruise line is also relaxing its cruise cancellation fee schedule for sailings through the same date.

Guests who have not yet reached their final payment due date can now wait until up to 60 days prior to sailing to pay for their cruise vacation. Onboard cruise activities can be scheduled within the Castaway Club booking window once final payment is received.

One- to five-night cruises, excluding suites and concierge staterooms, have 60 days or more from the departure date to cancel without a fee. It increases to the deposit per guest 59-45 days out, 50% of vacation price per guest 44-30 days out, 75% of vacation price per guest 29-15 days out, and 100% of the vacation price 14 days or less from the departure date.

Sailings of six nights or more, excluding suites and concierge staterooms, again have no cancellation fee 60 days or more from the departure date. The deposit will be charged 59-56 days prior to the departure date, 50% of the vacation price per guest 55-30 days prior, 75% 29-15 days prior, and 100% within 14 days or less.

For suites and concierge staterooms guests, guests have 60 days or more to cancel without a fee, followed by 59-56 days prior to be charged 50% of the vacation price per guest, 75% of the vacation price per guest 55-30 days prior, and 100% of the cost 29 days or less.

Reservations for inside, outside or verandah categories with restrictions remain nonrefundable and nontransferable.

These temporary changes are in addition to Disney Cruise Line’s Date Flexibility Option that allows guests the flexibility to change their sail date up to 15 days prior to departure for any cruise booked by Dec. 31, 2020, for scheduled sailings on or before May 31, 2021.
