Avanti Launches New Travel Advisor Website

by Daniel McCarthy / October 26, 2021
Avanti Launches New Travel Advisor Website

Tour operator Avanti Destinations this week released its new travel agent website that it says will allow users to create, save, price, and share custom FIT vacations in under five minutes.

Advisors, through the new website, can now suggest theme itineraries to clients in order to get their feedback. The website, using artificial intelligence built through Avanti’s most experienced travel consultants, will then create a custom, unique itinerary proposal in under one minute.

The itinerary is created with specific destinations, travel themes (history, family, nature, food, etc.), and hotel star rating selected by advisors. Once created, advisors can select a date and get the trip priced, again, in under one minute.

Avanti’s reservation team then takes hold of the proposal, reviewing the itinerary to make suggestions and adjustments as needed and then adding transportation such as air, rail, car rental, and more.

In a statement announcing the news, Avanti CEO Paul Barry called the update “the most exciting technology Avanti has ever offered advisors.”

“By giving advisors easy-to-use tools to rapidly build and modify custom vacation on their own, the new website frees up Avanti travel consultants to concentrate on consulting, quality control, and putting the finishing touches on a complete, seamless itinerary,” Barry said.

Avanti is also adding two other features to the website in addition to the trip-planning tools—a personalized dashboard and enhanced hotels and tours function.

The personalized dashboard gives advisors to their dedicated Avanti consultant and displays all current bookings, proposals, and favorite hotels, tours, and experiences. Advisors are able to log on to the dashboard, see their bookings, and get the status of deposits and final payments.

The enhanced hotels and tours function give advisors some better functionality when they search for tours and hotels for their clients. Search results can be filtered by star quality or style.

For advisors who are worried about using the new site and the new technology, Avanti said that advisors will still have access to the previous site until the transition is fully complete. Barry also promised that the new site is intuitive and user-friendly.
