Former Crystal Cruise President to Lead “New” Crystal

A&K Travel Group has confirmed to Travel Market Report that Crystal Cruises’ immediate past president, Jack Anderson, will lead the cruise line when it returns next year.

Anderson led Crystal Cruises as president and CEO from October 2020 to February 2022, when it was shut down. Prior to its closure, Anderson was with Crystal for nearly 10 years, serving as vice chairman, senior vice president of marketing and sales, and as an executive consultant to past Crystal president Tom Wolber.

Anderson has a long history in the cruise industry having also worked for Seabourn, Holland America Line, Carnival Corp. and Windstar.

A&K Travel Group purchased Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity late last month. Both ships will undergo extensive refurbishments before returning to sailing next year.
