Oasis at Lakeport, a $300 million project to build a family resort and entertainment hub at Osage Beach in Lake of the Ozarks, is adding a big name to its plans.

The companies behind the project—SkyView Partners and Tegethoff Development—announced this week that Marriott International has joined the project with plans to add a 400-room property to the resort. The hotel would be in addition to 20 acres of attractions, restaurants, retail, marina, boardwalk,  and more right on the Lake of Ozarks waterfront, highlighted by a 200-foot-tall observation wheel.

Construction hasn’t yet begun—it is scheduled to do so later this summer—but the project is expected to start welcoming guests sometime next year. The Marriott hotel is expected to be completed in 2026.

The hope is that the project creates a “year-round” entertainment destination.

“The addition of the Marriott Hotels property to the Lakeport family resort and entertainment district will solidify Oasis as the premier tourist destination in the Midwest,” said Todd Schneider, co-managing partner of SkyView Partners. “Our goal for Oasis at Lakeport is to provide a year-round family-friendly offering with attractions and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.”

The Marriott hotel on property would add 400 rooms plus a 26,000 sq. ft. conference center, spa, restaurants, outdoor pool, gym, and pickleball courts to the resort. The hotel will be located adjacent to a new 50,000 sq. ft. indoor waterpark that is in the works from OpenAire and American resort Management. The waterpark is also scheduled to open in 2026.
