Quebec Province Offers Free Admission to National Parks
Quebec Province will offer free admission and special events Saturday, September 10, 2016 at all 24 national parks managed by Sépaq.
Sepaq manages a variety of parks ideal for day trips from popular Canadian tourist destinations like Montreal and Quebec. For example, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, with six rivers and 400 lakes and streams, is about a 90-minute drive north from Montreal.
In addition to free access, a wide variety of activities and equipment will be available to visitors free of charge. Special programming will be offered by each national park, including demonstrations by local artisans.
Sépaq also is offering visitors the chance to win a “customized and unique stay” at a park, a $1,000 value. To participate, visitors on September 10 will need to make note of a special clue of the day and register online at http://www.sepaq.com/parksday by Sept. 18.
