Air France Ramps Up Summer 2026 Schedule; New Vegas-Paris Route Begins in April
by Marsha Mowers
Air France is ramping up its global network for summer 2026, with close to 170 destinations across 73 countries and a 2% increase in long-haul capacity, driven primarily by growth in North and South America.
A key highlight for the Canadian / U.S market is the launch of a new three-times-weekly, non-stop service between Paris–Charles de Gaulle and Las Vegas beginning April 15, 2026, operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline will also boost transatlantic capacity with a second daily flight to New York–Newark starting in June, bringing total service to up to 11 daily flights between Paris and the New York area in partnership with Delta Air Lines.
Network adjustments continue in response to global conditions. Services to Tel Aviv, Beirut, Dubai and Riyadh remain suspended through early May 2026 due to ongoing regional instability. At the same time, Air France is reallocating capacity to Asia to meet strong demand, with additional frequencies and larger aircraft deployed to key markets including Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Tokyo and Osaka.
Onboard, Air France continues to move upmarket with the expanded rollout of its La Première suite, now available on select routes including New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Miami, Singapore and Tokyo-Haneda, with Abidjan and San Francisco set to follow. The airline is also accelerating the introduction of complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, expected to be available across the majority of the fleet by the end of 2026.
Across its short- and medium-haul network, Air France will operate up to 630 daily flights to more than 90 destinations, with increased frequencies to key European and Mediterranean cities including Dublin, London-Gatwick, Marrakech, Rabat, Naples, Seville and Porto.
The carrier is also advancing its domestic network restructuring, consolidating Paris operations at Paris–Charles de Gaulle. From summer 2026, all flights to major French cities and overseas territories will operate from CDG, improving connectivity for international travellers.
