by Marsha Mowers
Explora Journeys has announced Endless Worlds, its highly anticipated Inaugural World Journey set to sail aboard EXPLORA I. Departing January 6, 2029, and ending May 14, 2029, the 128-day east-to-west voyage marks the brand’s first-ever continuous world journey, spanning four continents, 29 countries and territories, and 63 distinct destinations.
Created for travellers who value the rarest luxury—time. The itinerary is designed to be purposeful and unhurried, following historic routes of trade, cultural exchange, and human connection across the Indian, Pacific, and Atlantic Oceans.
Notably, this world voyage will also mark Explora Journeys’ first-ever visits to Australia and New Zealand, further expanding the brand’s global reach and offering travel advisors new opportunities to introduce clients to an elevated style of ocean exploration.
“Endless Worlds represents a milestone in the evolution of Explora Journeys,” said Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys. “Our Inaugural World Journey embodies our deepest values – boundless exploration, cultural curiosity and a meaningful connection to the ocean. It enables our guests to experience the world as an uninterrupted story, told gradually and gracefully, with the time and space to absorb its beauty in full.”
The Endless Worlds Journey sets sail from Dubai, carrying guests from the city’s golden coastline to the spice-scented ports of India and the pristine atolls of the Maldives. EXPLORA I will then continue toward Sri Lanka’s rich spiritual heritage before reaching the capitals of Southeast Asia and the iconic islands of Bali and Komodo.
From there, the Journey crosses into Oceania with calls in Sydney and extended stays in Cairns, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, and Melbourne. Travellers will also experience Tasmania’s rugged landscapes and New Zealand’s dramatic fjords.
The voyage then ventures deep into the heart of the Pacific, offering enriching visits to Fiji, Tonga, the Cook Islands, and French Polynesia, followed by a rare opportunity to explore Easter Island.
Upon reaching the Americas, EXPLORA I will transit the legendary Panama Canal, before sailing north along the Pacific coast to the cultural treasures of Chile and Peru. The Journey concludes with an eastward Atlantic crossing, visiting remote island destinations including Bermuda, Faial Island, and São Miguel in the Azores, before the voyage comes to an end on the shores of the Mediterranean.
Reservations for Endless Worlds will open early in 2026.
