We’ve heard from industry leaders like TRAVELSAVERS Canada’s Jane Clementino that there’s an unusual booking pattern these days – Canadians are either booking well into the future – 2027 and 2028 – or making a last-minute decision to go somewhere very soon.

Explora Journeys is targeting the latter with a new, limited-time offer: A Spontaneous Summer, a curated collection of ultra-luxury ocean journeys across the Mediterranean, Western Europe and Northern Europe in Summer 2026.

For bookings made through May 26, guests can enjoy savings of up to $3,000 (CAD) per Ocean Terrace Suite on select itineraries. The cruise line calls it a “compelling moment for both seasoned cruisers and new-to-luxury travellers to discover a more refined, immersive way to explore Europe by sea.”

Explora Journeys promises a fresh take on luxury cruising. Travel Market Report Canada’s John Kirk experienced it a few months ago and wrote about it here.

His biggest takeaway? “After just a few short days onboard Explora I, I think I finally figured it out. For me, luxury is simple: I want what I want, when I want it, where I want it, and exactly how I want it. Not too much to ask right? Onboard Explora 1, you don’t go looking for luxury, it finds you.”

Explora Journeys says it is redefining ocean travel with an emphasis on space, design and curated experiences. You can find out more about its luxury philosophy through this video interview with Patricia Di Benedetto during Kirk’s visit to Explora I.

Pillars of the Explora Journeys experience include:

OCEANFRONT HOME AT SEA. Your clients will sail in unrivalled space and privacy with elegantly designed oceanfront suites, penthouses and residences, each featuring a private terrace and floor-to-ceiling horizon views.

CULINARY DISCOVERY. Nine distinct, inclusive, culinary experiences, from refined international cuisine to relaxed poolside fare, crafted by expert chefs using the finest ingredients from around the world.

OCEAN-INSPIRED WELLNESS. Guests are invited to indulge in holistic wellbeing across indoor and outdoor spa and fitness spaces.

IMMERSIVE JOURNEYS & DESTINATION EXPERIENCES. Ashore, your clients will explore iconic destinations with a curated collection of Journeys and small-group Destination Experiences, offering authentic cultural encounters and exclusive access.
