Labadee Still a No-Go for Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships

Royal Caribbean has extended the suspension of cruise calls to Labadee, Haiti once again, this time pushing the timeline to June 2027 at the earliest. The line had previously canceled all visits through the end of this year.

“As we continue to evaluate conditions in Haiti and our ability to deliver the best vacations responsibly, we have decided to extend the suspension of ship calls to Labadee through June 2027,” a Royal Caribbean spokesperson told Seatrade Cruise News.

Depending on the ship’s itinerary, calls to Labadee have, in the past, been replaced with Falmouth, Perfect Day at CocoCay, Grand Turk, George Town, Bimini, or a sea day.

Royal Caribbean hasn’t sent a ship to Labadee since 2024, when the U.S. State Department first issued a Level 4: Do Not Travel advisory for Haiti in March. The Department has consistently reissued that advisory, most recently on July 10, 2026.
