Marc-Antoine Kamel Named NCL’s Canadian Director of Sales & Marketing

Norwegian Cruise Line has appointed Marc-Antoine Kamel as the new National Director of Sales & Marketing, Canada, effective immediately.

Norwegian Cruise Line has appointed Marc-Antoine Kamel as the new National Director of Sales & Marketing, Canada, effective immediately.  Marc-Antoine will be reporting to Katie Kania, Senior Director of Agency Sales for North America, and will be based in Montreal. 

Marc-Antoine will lead the award-winning Business Development Manager team while also working closely with key partners to oversee all sales and business development functions in the country. 

“Marc-Antoine has been an incredible brand advocate since day one, and a consistent champion for our agency partners since joining NCL in 2022. His commitment to excellence, strategic vision, and creative mindset has made him an incredible asset to the Canadian team. We are delighted to have Marc-Antoine lead our Canadian sales team, and have full confidence he will continue to expand NCL’s footprint within the country” said Katie Kania, senior director of agency sales for North America for Norwegian Cruise Line. 

In addition to time spent working within various businesses and the travel industry, Marc-Antoine takes significant pride in having spent 10 years as a travel advisor, and intends to bring NCL’s Partners First philosophy to new heights.  

“I am thrilled to step into this next chapter with Norwegian Cruise Line. I am looking forward to sharing my lifelong passion for the NCL brand from coast to coast, alongside our truly incredible Business Development Managers. We look forward to working hand in hand with our partners to grow their Norwegian business” said Kamel. 

“Working with our travel partners in Canada is a vital part of NCL’s overall strategy for North America.  Canada is a unique market, and Marc-Antoine’s blend of experience has him well poised to take our commitment to Canadian travel partners to new heights” said John Chernesky, senior vice president of North America sales for Norwegian Cruise Line.   

In addition to leading the country’s Business Development Managers and working with Norwegian’s travel partners, Marc-Antoine will also be developing and implementing the overall country strategy and marketing plan to align with Norwegian’s overall growth strategy.
